Headway now more grateful than ever to receive funding!

The 27th Burgess Hill Bike Ride took place in June last year. Almost 300 cyclists took part riding 10, 25 or 40 miles to raise money for local causes. Headway East Sussex was lucky enough to benefit from half of the total funds raised!

Before the Coronavirus changes hit, Committee members visited Headway at the Newick Centre to present the cheque. They  met  with our Chair, Michael Gaughan and other Trustees, and also met some of the client members, volunteers and staff.  The Headway East Sussex team was extremely grateful to receive the £2,500 as a marvellous gift from the cyclists and supporters involved.  Special thanks go also to the Burgess Hill Lions and Rotary Clubs who worked closely together to achieve this generous fundraising.

It’s now more important than ever for us to keep all the wheels of our fundraising spinning and we particularly welcome all donations towards our work at this very challenging time!
