Headway East Sussex have been getting in the Christmas spirit this weekend by doing some festive fundraising at The Beacon in Eastbourne. Members of the Headway East Sussex Eastbourne Support Group came together to spread a little Christmas cheer and raise awareness for the charity. Shoppers were treated to a range of lovely festive crafty gifts to add to their friends’ and families’ stockings as well as Christmas cards and a tombola.
Congratulations to Penny, who correctly guess the name Freddie in our name the teddy competition!
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. These types of events are so important for the charity. Not only does it help us raise much needed funds that enable us to keep providing vital services to people with brain injuries and their families and carers; it also gives our clients the opportunity to get involved and gain experience that sometimes isn’t readily available to them.
A huge thank you also goes to Headway East Sussex Trustee Sally, who made this all happen!
If you have any ideas for fundraising and want to get involved, or know of any events Headway East Sussex could attend, please let us know.
