Join Brighton & Hove Mayor Pete West to raise money for Headway East Sussex

Headway East Sussex walkers will join the Mayor and supporters of his other 26 local charities to make this an extra special community fundraising event.

The Mayor of Brighton & Hove actively supports a number of local charities which operate in Brighton & Hove, serving the local community and greatly improving the lives of residents.

There are six stages of the walk, which starts in Saltdean, including one with disabled access. The full route is just over 18 miles and you can join or leave at any of the six stages. Walk a little or the lot – it’s up to you.

  • There are a limited number of places available so book early!
  • We will be accompanied Park Rangers/Volunteers who will give talks along the way at areas of specific interest
  • Dogs on leads are welcome
  • £5 registration fee*

How to Enter

Visit, click on the green tickets box and select the Headway Hurstwood Park option (our name when the Mayor adopted us last year).

We will then contact you with further details including full route timing and how to raise sponsorship money and donate.

*The registration fee pays for the event costs. Any excess will go into the Mayor’s Charities Fund. Your sponsorship and donations will go directly to Headway East Sussex.
