Why support us?
In East Sussex, there are 3000 new hospital admissions each year for brain injury and Headway East Sussex receives more than 150 new enquiries per year. Injuries to the brain are typically caused by strokes, tumours, accidents through sport or in the workplace, road traffic accidents or by assault.
Help us raise £100,000 per annum
Consequently, we need to raise £100,000 per annum to provide our services and support to the brain injury community. This includes advice and support, outreach support in the home and community, evening support groups, hospital liaison and a daytime Rediscover group which helps people with work and life skills.
