Carers

The effects of an acquired brain injury can be far-reaching and long lasting not only for those affected, but for their families, friends and carers. The impact of a brain injury can change relationships between the individual and those around them, as both parties learn to adjust to living with the effects and understanding the recovery process.

We extend our support services to carers, families and friends, to provide advice and help to those who look after someone with an acquired brain injury. These all form part of our Reassurance service, which is free of charge. Please click the links on the left hand side to find out more about these services.
