Over the past couple of weeks, the bathroom showroom has been exhibiting a range of original artwork.
Twenty artists, and the MP for Lewes, Maria Caulfield, were asked to create their own work of art, using a wooden toilet seat as their canvas.

Fundraising for Headway East Sussex and showcasing local artists’ work
The exhibition is a chance for local artists to showcase unique works of art, as well as raise money for the local charity that provides support to people with brain injuries, as well as their families and carers.
Some of the works include a ‘Game of Thrones’ inspired seat, created by artist and Chandlers Bathroom Showroom colleague Kaleigh Sinclair, as well as a toilet seat decorated by the Lewes MP, Maria Caulfield, who is supporting the exhibition.
Headway East Sussex were absolutely delighted to be chosen as the charity to be supported.
Deputy Chief Executive of Headway East Sussex, Wendy Pengelly commented: “It was great to visit the Chandlers Bathroom store in Lewes today to see the ‘toilet seat’ art exhibition. The seats are up for auction until the end of October by secret bids with the proceeds coming to Headway.”
The ’toilet seat’ artwork exhibits is on display at Chandlers Bathroom Showroom, Lewes until the end of October.
