Our biggest event – The Lunar Cycle Challenge 2016

We are launching our biggest ever fundraising event – cycling the distance to the moon to raise money for the upkeep and running costs of our new gym facilities at Headway Hurstwood Park.

Fundraising for Headway Hurstwoos Park gym facilitiesWe will be launching the Lunar Cycle Challenge 2016 officially on the Wednesday 25th May at our centre in Newick and hosting fundraising events throughout the month. But we can’t cycle 252,088 miles to the moon by ourselves!

We are asking Headway Hurstwood Park supporters, individuals and businesses to get involved and hold their own sponsored cycling events and individual cycling challenges, where teams and individuals are sponsored for each mile they cycle.

Each sponsored mile will help to pay for the upkeep and running costs of our new gym facilities here at Headway Hurstwood Park for people living with a brain injury.

Just visit our Lunar Cycle Challenge 2016 JustGiving page to set up and create your own event, or download a sponsorship form and help us start raising money today.

For more information, download your Lunar Cycle Challenge 2016 event pack which tells you all you need to know to plan your event, or email us at lunarcycle@headway-hp.co.uk.

Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook or Twitter and keep us updated on your own challenges!

Do you know any organisations who would be willing to hold a sponsored cycling event? Perhaps a gym where members are sponsored for each mile they cycle on the exercise bike? Or an office where teams can compete to complete the most sponsored miles by cycling to work? Get in contact at  lunarcycle@headway-hp.co.uk or call us on 01825 724323.
