We are launching our biggest ever fundraising event – cycling the distance to the moon to raise money for the upkeep and running costs of our new gym facilities at Headway Hurstwood Park.
We will be launching the Lunar Cycle Challenge 2016 officially on the Wednesday 25th May at our centre in Newick and hosting fundraising events throughout the month. But we can’t cycle 252,088 miles to the moon by ourselves!
We are asking Headway Hurstwood Park supporters, individuals and businesses to get involved and hold their own sponsored cycling events and individual cycling challenges, where teams and individuals are sponsored for each mile they cycle.
Each sponsored mile will help to pay for the upkeep and running costs of our new gym facilities here at Headway Hurstwood Park for people living with a brain injury.
Do you know any organisations who would be willing to hold a sponsored cycling event? Perhaps a gym where members are sponsored for each mile they cycle on the exercise bike? Or an office where teams can compete to complete the most sponsored miles by cycling to work? Get in contact at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01825 724323.
