If successful, Headway East Sussex will be able to provide hydrotherapy as part of their rehabilitation services for people with brain injuries. This will help our clients gain improved movement, balance, stamina and strength, as well as mental wellbeing.

The service will be led by our Consultant Physiotherapist and therapy assistants. The funding will allow us to provide regular hydrotherapy sessions to survivors recovering at home, who would otherwise find it very difficult to access these types of facilities. We want to help more of our clients regain mobility through hydrotherapy, so that they can return to daily life, working and looking after their families.

  • Buoyancy supports joints and soft tissue
